Mrs. Willeane Nazworth, aged 80, of Starke passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025 following an extended illness at Baya Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lake City. Willeane was born on March 9, 1945 in Macclenny the daughter of the late Vollie Griffis and Altie Mae (Varnes) Griffis. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Keystone Heights and prior to retirement worked as a staff assistant for the University of Florida Tax Law School. Mrs. Nazworth enjoyed her church family, serving God and working in her flower garden. Her greatest joy was in serving her family, spending time with them and cooking. Following her retirement, she had many happy times camping with Franklin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Scott Thomas Nazworth and Patrick Alan Nazworth. Survivors are, her husband of sixty-two years, James "Franklin" Nazworth of Starke, sons, Daryl Nazworth (Cathy Woodall) of Lake Butler, Eric Nazworth (Sherry Thomas) of Lake Butler, brothers, Marvin Griffis (Nancy) of Raiford, and DeWitt Griffis (Libby) of Raiford. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Daniel Nazworth, Rachel Nazworth Cavin (James), and Jonathan Nazworth along with great grandchildren, Aubrey Nazworth, Jackson Nazworth. Emma Cavin, Calleigh Cavin and Macie Cavin. The family will receive friends at the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel of Jones-Gallagher Funeral home on Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 am with funeral services beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Santa Fe Cemetery in Hampton.
