William Edgar Avera, Jr.

Funeral services for William Edgar Avera, Jr., 86, will be held at 10:00a.m. Friday in Spring Glen United Methodist Church with Rev. David D. Spaulding officiating. The family will receive friends, at the Church, one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mr. Avera was retired as supervisor from the United States Postal Service, a member of Spring Glen United Methodist Church and a former member of the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. He was predeceased by his first wife, Ella Mae Avera and is survived by his present wife, Nancy Hood Avera. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S., where friends may call starting at 9:00a.m. Wednesday.
