William (Bill) Page Baxter Mr. William (Bill) Page Baxter, Jr. 88, went to be with the lord on February 6, 2013. Mr. Baxter was born on February 13, 1924 in Memphis, TN to the late William Page, Sr. and Lillian Baxter. He grew up in Memphis, and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a D-Day survivor of World War II. He retired from Cory Coffee a division of Hershey Corp. He attended Englewood Baptist Church. Mr. Baxter was preceded in death by his parents and his late wife of 46 years, Judy Baxter. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Baxter; a son Todd Barnett and extended family and friends; the Rickey's and Bowyer's and loving friends. His family and friends were the joy of his life. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday February 9, 2013 in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. with Rev. Billy Jones officiating. The family will receive friends for the hour prior to service.In lieu of flowers, memorials in his honor may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32257 or the Englewood Baptist Church 5675 Kennerly Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32207. Arrangements are under the direction of George H.
