William "Bill" Ralph Wise

Mr. William "Bill" R. Wise 68, of Keystone Heights passed away Monday, July 19, 2021, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville following a brief illness. He was born September 5, 1952, in Orange Park to Ralph and Rebecca (Brown) Wise and graduated with the Class of "70" from BHS. Bill retired from E.I DuPont as their Health and Safety Coordinator following nearly 50 years of employment. He was a longtime and active member of Trinity Baptist Church where he sang in the choir and participated in the Passion Play for 25 years. Bill was very patriotic and an avid Gator fan; he enjoyed being outdoors working but most of all he loved being with his family. His survivors are his loving and devoted wife of 48 years Darlene (Norman) Wise of Keystone Heights and their children Dilan Wise of Panama City and Kelsey Wise Gentry of Keystone Heights; parents Ralph and Rebecca (Brown) Wise of Lawtey; brothers Donny Wise (Carol) of Theressa and Tommy Wise (Cheryl) of Starke along with a sister in-law Sherry Stallings (Dennis) of Raleigh, NC and mother in-law Shirley (Norman) Groves (Wilbur) of Keystone Heights. He was lovingly called "Poppy" by Adalyn and Jack Gentry and Uncle Bill by Gracie, Lauren, Whitney, Craig, Kevin, Chris, Heather and Haley. Funeral services for Bill be held Friday, July 23, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. in Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor James Peoples, Pastor Scott Stanland, Pastor Rob Allison and Pastor Brandon Denmark officiating.
