William "Jeff" Jefferson Dowling

Mr. William Jefferson "Jeff" Dowling age 47, of Keystone Heights passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2016 at Shands hospital in Gainesville following a brief illness. He was born in Miami on December 15, 1969 and was a mechanic and a member of Hope Baptist Church. Jeff enjoyed boating, fishing and was always busy whether it was working on automobiles or selling fireworks. His father William Lamar Dowling had preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Devin and his mother, Joy Overton both of Keystone Heights. Also left behind are four siblings; Ross Norris of Newberry, Bruce Norris and Kasey Adkins both of Starke and Kim Baker of Keystone Heights, along with several nieces and nephews and his two pups, Droopy and Junior. A memorial service for Jeff will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 2, 2017 in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dean Slocumb officiating.
