Mr. William "Mitch" Holsenbeck 54 of Steinhatchee and formerly of Starke passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 12, 2020, in Athens, Georgia while vacationing with his family. He was born August 15, 1966, in Jacksonville and graduated with the Class of 1986 from Bradford County High School. He later owned and operated Holsenbeck Securing Services until retirement six years ago. Mitch was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also a simple man who loved being with his family, friends and especially grandkids. Mitch was preceded in death by his grandson Remington. Left behind is his loving wife of 34 years Kim (Brown) Holsenbeck of Steinhatchee and their two sons Dustin Fate Holsenbeck (Kayla), Dalton Maddox Holsenbeck (Whitney) and God-Daughter Felicia Foti all of Starke. Also left behind are his parents William Earl Holsenbeck of Eatonton, Georgia and Joyce Kinard Stevens of Hampton; two brothers Monte Holsenbeck of Travelers Rest, South Carolina and Wesley Holsenbeck (Macey) of Kissimmee along with six precious grandchildren Kelsey, Taylin, Rhett, Hadley, Blaine and Raelynn. Visitation for Mitch will begin at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2020, in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel with services following at 5:00 p.m. Mr. Preston Wilson will be officiating.
