Mr. William Devon Billy MelsonMr. William Devon Billy Melson age 67, of Starke passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Melson was born on June 12, 1945 in Gainesville to the late Willis Samuel and Reba Boone Melson, was a lifelong resident of Bradford County and graduated from Bradford High . Prior to retirement Billy was a self-employed truck driver for R&L Leasing. He was a Baptist, loved horses, and enjoyed roping and watching his grandchildren in the rodeo. He was preceded in death by his sister Karon Burch in October 2012. Survivors are his wife of 46 years Sandra Rivenbark Melson of Starke; daughter: Belinda Crosby and her husband Rick of Brooker; grandchildren: Taylor, Cole, Robert and Kristin; great grandson: Javin. The family will receive friends at JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME in Starke on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 6-8 PM. Graveside funeral services will be on Saturday afternoon January 12th at 1 oclock in HAWTHORNE CEMETERY with Pastor Charles Starling officiating.
