William G. Pothier, Jr., 97 of Gainesville, passed away June 8, 2018 at Palm Gardens of Gainesville. Bill was born in Haverhill, MA and moved to Gainesville 65 years ago from Punta Gorda. He retired from Sperry Rand Corp. and was a World War II Veteran.He is survived by his children William Pothier, III, Donna Hope and Yvette Berman, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32609.Arrangements are under the care of Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 352-378-2528.
