Mr. William "Huntley" Redfearn Jr., 87, a lifelong resident of Keystone Heights passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. He was born Sept. 20, 1934, in Coral Gables, Fla., to William H. Sr., and Anne Kathy (Wright) Redfearn, and proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Huntley owned and operated Redfearn Services for many years servicing the Keystone Heights and surrounding areas. He was a member of Keystone United Methodist Church, held two terms as an elected city councilman for the City of Keystone Heights; volunteered 18 years with the Keystone Heights Volunteer Fire Department in which two of those years he was fire chief. Huntley was also a Paul Harris Fellow, and a past member of the Lions and Rotary clubs. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Eric Redfearn. Huntley leaves behind his dedicated and loving wife of 52 years Diana (Frohlich) Redfearn of Keystone Heights; three daughters Julia Redfearn of South Daytona, Tish Bonner (Brad) of Earleton, and Robin Redfearn of Belleview along with a son William Redfearn III (Katie Bardugone) of Green Cove Springs. Also left behind are his brother Mike Redfearn of Keystone Heights; sisters-in-law Mary Redfearn of Keystone Heights, and Barbara Redfearn of Wilmington, N.C; and a brother-in-law David Frohlich of Keystone Heights and several nieces and a nephew. He was lovingly call "Papa" by Tyler Bonner, Kathryn Burgess, Leah Burgess and Zane Huntley Redfearn. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts can be made to the Alzheimers Association Home Office 225 N.
