Mr. William Gene Billy Rhoden, age 62, a lifelong resident of Starke, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013. He was born June of 1950 in Starke to the late Carl and Bertha (Wilson) Rhoden. Mr. Rhoden enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of Air Park Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 6 years, Joanne Rhoden of Starke, his twin brother, Robert Rhoden of Starke, 2 sisters, Linda Gatlin of Starke and Carolyn Davis of Grandin, a son, Ben Nelson and wife, Maria of Lawtey, a daughter, Kathy Rhoden of Starke, daughter-in-law, Amanda Woods, step-children, Crystal Baker and husband, Jason of Jacksonville, Rebecca Sellers of Starke and Jennifer Sellers of Starke. Mr. Rhoden is also survived by 9 grandchildren including, Damien Nelson, Hannah Sellers and Peyton Sellers. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, April 8, 2013 at Air Park Baptist Church with Arthur Masters officiating. The family will receive friends staring at Noon on Monday at the Church. Burial will follow in Dedan Cemetery. hide
