William 'Boyd' Whitney

William "Boyd" Whitney, 69, died of renal failure on 2/13/2016 at the Community Hospice facility in Jacksonville, FL. He is survived by his son, William Boyd Whitney, Jr., (Theresa Whitney), Ragland, AL, granddaughter, Ashton Whitney, Jacksonville, FL, brother, Robert V. Whitney, (Marty). He is preceded in death by his sister, Gayle Whitney Wells, parents Robert Vance Whitney and Blanche Whitney Williams (Jerry J. Williams) Boyd was born on March 31, 1946, in Jacksonville, FL. He graduated from Andrew Jackson Sr. High in 1964 and served in the Air National Guard from 1964-1970. He was employed by and retired from Graybar Electric after 30 plus years. Graveside service will be at 10AM, 2/20/2016, at the Evergreen Cemetery (Gate #1) Jacksonville, FL, with a reception to follow.
