William Roland Wolfe

William Roland Wolfe, age 87, passed away on Friday April 20, 2018 in Jacksonville. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday April 25, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in George H. Hewell & Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday April 26, 2018 in Ft. Caroline Presbyterian Church, 3754 University Club Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32277 with Dr. David Imhoff officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery.A Jacksonville native, Roland was born here on August 7, 1930 to George W. Wolfe III & Margaret E. Snipes Wolfe. He was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, class of 1948.Roland served in the Florida National Guard beginning in 1948 and leaving the service as a Sergeant in 1957. A retired commercial credit manager, Roland was a member of the National Association of Credit Management. He was also a longtime member of Ft. Caroline Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder and a member of the choir. Roland was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cleo Virginia Wolfe. He is survived by 2 sons, Kevin Wolfe (wife, Sheila) & Scott Wolfe; 3 granddaughters, Paige Hunt, Emily Wolfe & Kelly Wolfe; 3 great grandchildren Noah, Riley & Amelia and by many extended family, church family & friends.Arrangements are under the direction of George H.
