Mr. William Buck WoodsMr. William Buck Woods age 89, of Hampton passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at Traces of Tiger Assisted Living Facility in Clayton, Georgia. Mr. Woods was born on June 16, 1923 in Miami to the late John and Annie May (Croft) Woods and moved to Hampton in 1965. He was a retired Commercial Construction worker, a Mason, and served in the United States Army during World War II. William was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Prevatt Woods and his survived by his son Jerry Woods (Elewyne Sam) of Melrose; grandchildren: Kim and Scott Woods Masters; two great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM in Jacksonville Memory Gardens with Pastor Steve Conner officiating.
