HILANDWillis James "Jim" Hiland, Jr., 75, passed away on Saturday May 2, 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida.He was born in Peoria, Illinois to Willis James Hiland, Sr. & Matilda Wadham Hiland. After graduating high school, Jim served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. Jim managed his own auto repair business and enjoyed working within the auto industry following his retirement. Among his favorite things to do were fishing, boating, and exploring the flea markets.Jim is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Glenda Joyce Hiland, and their 8 children, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, his sister Becky, and by many extended family & friends.Funeral services and interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery, with Military Honors, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday June 17, 2020 with Chaplain (Captain) John R. Williams, III - 125th Fighter Wing, Florida Air National Guard, officiating.
