Wilma Estella Geiger

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Wilma Estella Geiger who left us on Friday, September 18, 2026, at her residence in Hampton. Born on March 17, 1946, in Starke to the late Luther and Bernice Jackson she touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and passion for life.
Wilma was a high school graduate who dedicated her professional life to the manufacturing industry, working at General Electric in Gainesville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Anthony "Tony" Geiger along with grandchildren, Keri Geiger and Travis Clark. A devoted family woman, Wilma is survived by her cherished son Timothy Geiger (Edith) of Lake City and her loving daughter LaRae Huff of Hampton, her brothers Melton (Gloria) McKinney of Richmond, Virginia, Marvin (Dietra) McKinney of Kingsland, Georgia, and her sister Jean Tanner of Lawtey. Also left are her grandchildren and great grandchildren who lovingly called her "Granny"; Keli (Jeff) Monday, Timothy Geiger, Joshua (Justin) Church, Johnathan Harris, Jordan (Krystalle) Harris, Dolan (Amber) Huff, Lascena Holley, and Zenik Patrick, along with her great-grandchildren: Hailey (Richard) Waltz, Devin Barnes, Korbyn Monday, Noah Sumner, Gianna Harris, Leon Kline, Aidan Huff, and Azaria Holley, and her precious great-great granddaughter, Harper Zentgraf Wilma delighted in nurturing her love for flower gardening and spending time with her family. A celebration of Wilma's life will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel of Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Ogburn officiating.
