Mrs. Winafred Carolyn Goode 82, of Interlachen passed away at her home on Sunday, February 20, 2011. She was born on March 19, 1928 to the late George and Julia Stauffer and had been a resident of Interlachen for the past 27 years moving from Chicago. Prior to her retirement she was a switchboard operator for J.C. Penney. Winafred was a member of the Church of Christ in Interlachen and was in charge of the M.S.B.U. Unit 16 & 17 of Interlachen for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Winfred Goode. Her survivors are her children, Dennis R. Goode (Ann) of Ocala, Fred Goode (Emma) of Lexington, KY, James P. Goode of Rochester, NY, Wanda Rutkiewicz (Michael) of Interlachen, one sister, Audrey Stone (Gerald) of Bradenton, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Viewing for Mrs. Goode will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 10 Oclock with Curtis Jones officiating.
