Yok Kheng Ngo

Mr. Yok Kheng Ngo passed away on Sunday May 16, 2021 at his home in Jacksonville with his loving family at his side. A native of Battambang, Cambodia - Mr. Ngo was a long time Jacksonville resident and worked for the University of North Florida. He was a beloved member of the Wat Khmer Savy Rattanaram Buddhist Temple and was kindly regarded by all who knew him.Yok Kheng Ngo was preceded in death by his wife, Kimsieng Ngo. He is survived by two daughters, Kim Ly Boyd and Kim Hour Ngo; three sons, Kim Soeung Ngo, Kim Sean Ngo and Kim Sann Ngo; many grandchildren and numerous extended family & friends.Visitation will take place on Thursday May 27th & Friday May 28th from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. in George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S.Funeral ceremonies will be held in the funeral home chapel, starting around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday May 29th. A procession to Evergreen Crematory for the conclusion of the funeral ceremonies will follow, leaving the funeral home at 2:00 p.m.The Temple Monk chanting ceremony will be held on Saturday evening, starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Wat Khmer Savy Rattanaram Temple, 4540 Clinton Ave. And the Offering to the Monks Funeral Service will take place Sunday morning May 30th starting at 7:00 a.m. at the Temple.
