Mrs. Yvonne Gail (Griffis) Robbins, age 58, died Saturday June 23, 2012 after an extended illness at Shands at UF in Gainesville. She was a lifelong resident of Starke and a member of Hope Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mildred Griffis of Starke.She is survived by her husband Jerry D. Robbins Sr., her sons; Jerry D. Robbins Jr., Ricky Lee Robbins; Justin Robbins, Kobie Robbins, and her daughters; Lillie Robbins and Kaleigh Robbins, all of Starke, her Daughter-in-law; Heather McMinn Robbins. She is also survived by her grandson; Kaleb Robbins of Lake Butler. Her sisters and brother, Shirley Bishop of Keystone Heights, Lillian Sweat (Tim) of Lake City, Louis F. Griffis (Bonnie) of Keystone Heights, Marilyn (Leon) Nehring of Orange Lake, Arlene (Leon) Copper of Starke and Vincent Griffis of Starke. Mrs. Robbins is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 620 E. Nona St. in Starke. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday morning at 11 oclock at Hope Baptist Church, 3900 SE SR 100, Starke with Doctor Gene Coons officiating.
