WHY FAMILIES CHOOSE US

A Place for Comfort.

Soft chairs, good lighting, and a quiet room to just sit with your people for a while.

TOGETHERNESS

A Space Built for Gathering

Tall ceilings, warm light, and an open room where family and friends can gather close together.

A JOURNEY HANDLED WITH CARE

When a death occurs far from home, the distance can feel overwhelming. Our repatriation team removes that burden entirely — coordinating the many details required to carry your loved one safely across state lines or international borders, so your family can focus on grieving and remembering.

––– WHAT IS REPATRIATION?

The safe, dignified transfer of a loved one to their final destination

Repatriation is the process of transporting a person who has died from the place of death to their home city, state, or country. It is a highly regulated undertaking that requires careful documentation, precise timing, and close coordination with airlines, government agencies, and receiving funeral homes.

Families turn to us in two very different moments: when a loved one has passed away while traveling or living abroad and needs to be brought home, and when a loved one who has passed here needs to be sent onward to another state or nation for burial. In both directions, we manage the entire journey from beginning to end.

TWO DIRECTIONS, ONE STANDARD OF CARE

Inbound & Outbound

Bringing a loved one home — arranging the return of someone who has died away from home, including international recovery, embassy coordination, and transport to a local chapel.

Sending a loved one onward — preparing and transferring someone in our care to another state or country, in full compliance with the requirements of the receiving destination.

"No Family Should Have to Navigate the Distance Alone."

FAMILY OWNED FUNERAL GROUP

––– EXPERIENCING THAT REASSURES

Recognized experts in complex transfers

Repatriation is not routine work — it demands relationships with airlines and authorities, fluency in international requirements, and the composure to solve problems quickly when timelines are tight. Our directors have guided countless families through exactly this, and we bring that same steadiness to yours.

THE DIFFERENCE OF FAMILY OWNERSHIp

Personal attention at every mile

As an independent, family-owned group, we answer to the families we serve — not to a corporation. That means one director who knows your name, clear communication across every time zone, and a genuine commitment to treating your loved one as we would our own.

We are honored to be entrusted with this most important journey, and we hold that trust with the seriousness it deserves.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What Families Ask Us About Repatriation

  • How quickly can repatriation begin?

We begin coordinating the moment you call, day or night. Timelines vary depending on the origin, destination, and the documentation each requires, but our early involvement is the single best way to keep the process moving smoothly.

  • Do you handle international arrangements from other countries?

Yes. We regularly coordinate with foreign authorities, consulates, and international funeral partners to bring loved ones home from abroad, and to send loved ones onward to family overseas.

  • What documents are required?

Requirements depend on the destination, but commonly include certified death certificates, transit and burial permits, a consular mortuary certificate for international transfers, and certified translations. We identify and obtain everything needed on your behalf.

  • Can our family still hold a service?

Absolutely. Repatriation and a meaningful farewell are not mutually exclusive. We can arrange a service before departure, after arrival, or in both locations — whatever best honors your loved one and gathers those who wish to say goodbye.

  • What will it cost?

Every repatriation is unique, shaped by distance, method of transport, and the requirements involved. We provide clear, itemized guidance up front so there are no surprises during an already difficult time.
